Metra Parking Lot Repaving to Start Soon
Patch takes a look at local happenings Wednesday in and around Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills.

A quick look at what's happening in and around Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills today:
- The repaving of the Metra station parking lot in downtown Clarendon Hills will begin this weekend, the Village of Clarendon Hills announced Tuesday afternoon on Facebook. It was estimated by the village last month that once begun, the parking lot improvements will take two weeks to complete. The Clarendon Hills Lions Club has made available 30 alternate parking spots for commuters affected by the construction.
- Three weekdays remain for families to enjoy the Hinsdale Community Pool before it becomes exclusively a weekend hangout. Back-to-school hours begin at the pool Monday, meaning it will be open only on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day) from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- The Lions Park Pool in Clarendon Hills also moves to its "post-season hours" beginning Monday and running through Labor Day, however those hours include weekday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
