Mom Murdered in Burr Ridge, Asbestos Found at Hinsdale Central: Week in Review

1. Dept. of Homeland Security Investigating Man Charged With Murdering Mom: Michael Bassaly of Downers Grove is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his mother. He told a 911 dispatcher that he shot her in the head, according to prosecutors.
2. Asbestos Found Near Hinsdale Central Gym, Locker Room: Removal of the "undisturbed and confined" asbestos will take place in September and require the closure of the locker room for one day.
