New CEOs For Hinsdale, La Grange Hospitals

HINSDALE, IL – The hospitals in Hinsdale and La Grange have new CEOs, replacing the one who led both facilities, the parent organization announced Thursday.

The appointments took effect Monday, according to UChicago Medicine AdventHealth.

They are replacing Adam Maycock, who is now the president of Kettering Health's main campus in Kettering, Ohio.

Elise MacCarroll-Wright, who was corporate vice president of ancillary and support services for AdventHealth, is the new president and CEO of the Hinsdale hospital. At AdventHealth, she was responsible for connectivity and standardization in radiology, pharmacy, laboratory and respiratory care.

Dave Tkachuck, former chief operating officer of AdventHealth's hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida, is the new president and CEO of the La Grange hospital. In Daytona Beach, he oversaw a $220 million expansion plan at the 362-bed hospital that's expected to be completed in a couple of years. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved certification as a comprehensive stroke center. He also served in executive roles at AdventHealth in Portland, Oregon.

In another move, Kathleen Downey, former vice president of nursing for the Hinsdale and La Grange hospitals, was promoted to vice president and chief nursing officer for the La Grange hospital. She assumed the position Dec. 16. She earlier served as the director of the medical-surgical and telemetry areas at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
