Playoffs: Hinsdale Central's Season Ends With Loss to Oswego

The Red Devils finished the 2013 season with a 5-5 record.

Oswego running back Tyler Walsh ran 33 times for 167 yards Saturday night as the No. 4 seed Panthers blew out No. 13 seed Hinsdale Central, 42-14, in a first-round 8A playoff game in Oswego, according to HighSchoolCube News.

Red Devils quarterback Chase Hamilton, who returned to the field last week after being out with an ankle injury since Week 3, completed 11 of 29 passes for 167 yards, HighSchoolCube reports.

According to HighSchoolCube, Hinsdale Central out-gained Oswego in total offense, 300 yards to 284, but four turnovers kept the Red Devils' yards from becoming points.

Oswego, a team that has won eight straight games, will face Waubonsie Valley in the second round.
