Police Say 'Drive Slowly and Cautiously' With School Underway

A quick look at what's happening in and around Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills today:

• The Hinsdale Police Department posted an advisory on its Facebook page Monday afternoon with the new school year in mind: "With the nice weather, we're seeing lots of school children out walking. This is great as it reduces congestion, pollution, and is good for our kids' hearts. All the more reason drivers need to take caution to drive slowly and cautiously - not only in school zones, but all of our streets."
