Residents Report Garage Burglaries

Two local garages were the sites of burglary, residents told police.

A male resident on the 200 block of north Garfield reported that entry was gained into his garage and a men’s red Specialized Crosstrail bicycle, saddle bag and cable lock were taken. Loss is estimated at $550. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 5 p.m. April 8 and 4 p.m. April 11.

Entry to a locked garage on the 200 block of west Washington Street was reported to have occurred sometime between April 2-9. The male resident reported that a Garmin GPS, valued at $650, was taken. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
