Schuster: D181 Ready to Implement Learning for All Plan
District 181 Superintendent Renée Schuster sent a letter to the community before the first day of school in the district on Thursday.

The following is a letter from District 181 Superintendent Renée Schuster:
Dear District 181 Community,
Welcome to the new school year and all the excitement and anticipation it brings. It has been a busy summer in District 181, with renovations and maintenance work, curriculum writing and professional development, hiring and training, drafting of our tentative budget and a variety of communications planned and distributed.
Our preparation for the first days of school has been completed, and we are ready to implement year one of the Learning for All Plan (formerly the Advanced Learning Plan).
This year, our District Strategic Goals focus on four areas: Learning for All, Involvement and Transparency, Fiscal Stewardship and Employee Excellence. You can learn more about our LIFE Goals and how they will be put into action on our website at www.d181.org > About > Office of the Superintendent. You will be hearing more about our LIFE Goals and progress toward them throughout the year.
Our vision is to be a school district where all children experience success and grow in excellence. I am confident that we will continue to excel in making the District 181 vision a reality for our students as we prepare them for the future.
