Top Salaries At Hinsdale Central, South During 2024-25

HINSDALE, IL – The superintendent of Hinsdale High School District is again the district's highest-paid employee.

In the 2024-25 school year, Superintendent Michael Lach made $255,000. He is retiring at the end of this school year.

The previous year, the district had a succession of five interim superintendents after the board showed the door to the superintendent, Tammy Prentiss.

In 2023-24, Josh Stephenson, the district's chief financial officer, was the top-paid employee. Last year, he was second to Lach, making $218,502.

This information comes from the district's annual compensation report, which was released late last week.

Eighty-six teachers tied for 16th-highest pay, at $152,684.
