Video Shows Train Hit Vehicle In Hinsdale
Police reported on the condition of the car's driver.

HINSDALE, IL – A Metra commuter train crashed into a car about 11:45 a.m. Monday at the Monroe Street crossing in Hinsdale, local police said.
The driver and lone occupant of the car, described by multiple news outlets as an 80-year-old woman, was taken to Hinsdale Hospital for "very minor" injuries, police said.
As a result of the crash, the train was mechanically disabled, with the passenger transferred to another train, police said.

In surveillance video released by police, a car could be seen moving toward the tracks, with the front bumper over the first rail.
As the train approached, the car moved back slightly, but not enough. The train pushed the car back.
