Two Hinsdale Businesses Burglarized: Police

Both break-ins occurred around 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to the police department.

HINSDALE — Two Hinsdale businesses were burglarized early Tuesday, according to police.

The Starbucks inside the Hinsdale’s Whole Foods and the Jimmy John’s a half mile west were broken into around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a Facebook post by the Hinsdale Police.

In both break-ins, the suspects broke the glass on the front doors to enter. They targeted the safes and money inside both restaurants, police said.

The damage at Starbucks caused it to temporarily close Tuesday.

Police said they are pursuing leads and trying to determine if the break-ins were connected to two recent downtown burglaries.
