HINSDALE, IL – A handgun was stolen from one of the unlocked cars that were burglarized overnight Saturday in a Hinsdale neighborhood, local police said.

Four cars were broken into – three in the 300 block of Claymoor Road and another in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Lane, police said. Those streets are near 57th and Elm streets.

The suspect opened a garage in the area using an opener left in one of the unlocked cars. Cash and a handgun were removed from a car, police said.
