Youths Steal Nearly $5K From Hinsdale Store: Cops

Police said they followed the suspects to a store in the same chain in Chicago.

HINSDALE, IL – Three youths were arrested Monday night after stealing nearly $5,000 in merchandise, including cosmetics, from Walgreens in Hinsdale, police said.

The three were believed to be a part of an organized retail theft operation.

Hinsdale police said they identified the suspects' car and followed it to a Walgreens in Chicago. They arrested the youths after they left the Walgreens, where the suspects were found with more stolen merchandise, police said.
