4th Annual Taste Of Lockport Features Local Favorites
The family-friendly event will be held from 5 to 10:30 p.m. in downtown Lockport on Hamilton Street in front of City Hall on Sept. 20.
LOCKPORT, IL — On Sept. 20, the Lockport Township High School 205 Foundation will host the 4th annual Taste of Lockport community event. According to the District, the annual event is a partnership with the City of Lockport with the goal of fundraising for LTHS students' scholarships, programs, faculty grants and LTHS community events.
The family-friendly event will be held from 5 to 10:30 p.m. in downtown Lockport on Hamilton Street in front of City Hall. The District said that local restaurants and breweries will feature favorite menu items, with cash and credit accepted for food purchases. A beer tent will also offer beverage tickets redeemable on-site for alcohol.
Family friendly activities and games will be available at the Kids Zone from 5 to 7 p.m., sponsored by Lupine Montessori School, according to a release.

P.A.W.S. Tinley Park will also set up an adoption event with pets looking for their forever homes. There will be live music from local bands, including the School of Rock, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Back by popular demand, "Maggie Speaks" will headline the night with an energetic performance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for $10 online or at Nik & Ivy Brewing Company through Sept. 19. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15. Admission is free for guests ages 20 and under. For added safety, designated driver wristbands will be offered along with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, according to a release.
The Taste of Lockport will be held rain or shine.
