In this storytelling lecture, William Pack will perform a reading of A Christmas Carol using a script based on Dickens’ 1867 abridged reading copy. The reading will be enhanced by a modern recreation of a magic lantern slide show, which was popular during Dickens’ lifetime. We will conclude with a Q&amp;A, where William will answer your questions about the curious origins and motivations behind the story.

The Old Central Church, with its 130-year-old walls, stained-glass windows, and soaring ceilings, holds a resonance that gently wraps around you like an embrace. During this one-hour sound bath, you will lie comfortably or sit in a pew&nbsp;as Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, bells, and drums create healing tones that gently travel through the body. Explore 150+ crafters and vendors, enter our 50/50 split-the-pot raffle, enjoy great food, and catch live performances from student musicians and the always-entertaining Frankfort Brass Band. All proceeds support the Lincoln-Way West Music Boosters and our school music programs.
