Back To School: Homer District 33C School Year Calendar 2024-25

HOMER GLEN, IL — School supplies are already out at local stores, and while it may not seem like it, the start of the school year will be here again before we know it. There are still a few weeks left of summer fun, but the first day of school is Aug. 26 for Homer District 33C students in grades K-8.

• Sept. 13, institute day, no student attendance
• Oct. 11, half-day
• Oct. 14, no school, Columbus Day
• Nov. 4, institute day, no student attendance
• Nov. 5, no school, Election Day
• Nov. 22, half-day
• Nov. 25-26, parent-teacher conferences, no student attendance
• Nov. 27-29, Thanksgiving holiday, no school
• Dec. 20, early dismissal
• Dec. 23-Jan.3, winter break, no school
• Jan. 6, students return from winter break
