Comicopolis Returns To Lockport On July 20

LOCKPORT, IL — The annual comic and fandom convention, Comicopolis will return once again this year to Lockport.

Hosted by the White Oak Library District - Lockport Branch and the City's Summer Art Series, the convention brings vendors and fans from all fandoms.

The con offers a cosplay costume contest with cash prizes, face painting, photo booth, scavenger hunt and swag bags for the first 500 attendees, according to event organizers.

Over 60 artists, writers and specialty vendors offer merchandise at the con.

It is held both inside and outside the library, 121 E. Eighth St. Admission is free.
