Cop On A Rooftop Planned May 17 In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — Cop on a Rooftop, the annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois, will be held on May 17 at the Homer Glen Dunkin', 14135 S. Bell Road.

This year is the 21st anniversary between Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. Each year, police officers staff Dunkin' locations, often standing on rooftops of the buildings, to support Special Olympics Illinois.

Will County Sheriff's deputies will support the fundraiser again this year, from 5 a.m. to noon on May 17, at 422 S. Chicago St., in Joliet; and 14135 S. Bell Road, in Homer Glen.

Guests who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut, according to the event website. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a tumbler and a coupon for a free coffee.
