Farm-To-Table Experience Supports The Legacy Ranch

The Legacy Ranch offers equine-assisted services to those in need.

LOCKPORT, IL — Join The Legacy Ranch in Lockport for a farm-to-table experience while supporting the nonprofit's mission to improve the lives of individuals with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges by offering equine-assisted services to those in need.

Executive Director Kate Rasmussen said the event, Barrels & Bites, will be held outdoors on the farm's 20-acre property at 2705 S. Farrell Road, in Lockport.

"We will have a chef that is making a 3-course meal, and she is utilizing the produce out of our own garden that was grown by our adult life skills program," Rasmussen said.

Tickets are available online for the event, which will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 4.
