Free, Fee-Based COVID-19 Testing Sites Available In Will County
With an increase in cases, the health department has shared an updated list of testing sites in Will County.

WILL COUNTY, IL — With an increase in cases of COVID-19, largely due to the delta variant, the Will County Health Department has shared an updated list of available COVID-19 testing sites.
The Illinois Department of Public Health lists Will County at high transmission of COVID-19, as of Wednesday.
If you are looking for a COVID-19 testing site, there are both free sites and fee-based sites across the county. Here is where you can find free testing sites in Will County:

VNA Healthcare, 160 N. Independence Ave., Romeoville
Appointment only, call 630-892-4355. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PCR test only, with results in 2-3 days.

Walmart Drive-Up, 2424 W. Jefferson St., Joliet.
Appointment only. Open from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. PCR self-administered test, with results 3-5 days from the day the lab receives the test.
CVS Minute Clinics
Appointment only, drive-up. Rapid tests and PCR tests available. There are seven locations in Will County: in Aurora, Plainfield on Drauden Road, Plainfield on North Route 59, Bolingbrook, Lockport, New Lenox, Mokena on La Grange Road and Mokena on Lincoln Highway.

Appointment only, call 815-727-4722. Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Rapid tests, results in one hour.
Wellness Home of Will County, 644 Weber Road, Romeoville
Appointment only, free without insurance through Health Resources and Services Administration grant. Open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. PCR and rapid tests available.
Lockport Medical Express, 16221 W. 159th St., Lockport
Register online, open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Rapid tests, with results that day.
Family First Medical Group, 10260 W. 191st St., Mokena
Appointment only. Open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. Rapid results, with results that day; or PCR lab results, with results in 48-72 hours.

Physician Immediate Care
Appointment only, and there is a required curbside exam with a physician before the test. Rapid tests, with results before you leave.
