Lockport Pizzeria Offers 1 Year Of Free Pizza To Anyone Who IDs Attempted Burglars

Police said three suspects got out of a vehicle and struck a window and the front door of the business with landscaping bricks.

LOCKPORT, IL — Sopranos Pizzeria and Catering is offering free pizza for a year to anyone who helps identify three suspects who attempted to break into the restaurant early Tuesday.

"We’ve got the footage. We’ve got the screenshots. Now we want names. Help us ID these crumb bums, and you’ll be eating on the house for a whole year. That’s 52 Fridays of extra cheese, no questions asked," the business shared on its Facebook page.

Lockport Police told Patch that it received a call from a passing motorist who saw a gray or silver Kia sedan pull up to the restaurant, at 1527 S. State St.

Police said three suspects exited the vehicle and struck a window and the front door of the business with landscaping bricks and another unidentified blunt object, which caused the window and door to crack.

Both the window and door remained intact, and the suspects fled without making entry to the business, according to police.
