Groundbreaking Planned For Renovations At Hadley, Homer Junior High
The $28.3 million project was approved in January.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer District 33C is gearing up to begin additions and renovations at Hadley Middle School and Homer Junior High, as a groundbreaking is planned for May 13.
The addition will connect the two schools, and will be 52,312 square feet.
Hadley Middle School was built in 1987, and Homer Junior High was built in 1981. Additions were built in 2003 and 2004.

Superintendent Craig Schoppe has previously said that the project will address current space issues at both buildings.
The project went out to bid in December, and was approved in January by the Board of Education. The $28.3 million project includes additional classrooms, a shared library, a large cafeteria and a gym.
