Gunshots Strike House In Lockport Township: Sheriff

LOCKPORT, IL — Gunshots were reported near Arthur Avenue and Rosalind Street in Lockport Township on Thursday night, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies arrived and found about 20 spent handgun shell casings along Arthur Avenue, the sheriff's office said. Officers also discovered that a home in the 2100 block of Arthur had been struck by gunfire.

Three people were inside the home at the time of the incident; however, no injuries were reported, the sheriff's office said.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating this incident.
