Volunteers will spread woodchips around trees adjacent to the park, remove suckers from tree trunks, fill divots with dirt in the mowed areas and trim vegetation along the fence line. All tools and supplies will be provided.

Not only will this opportunity improve the aesthetics of Messenger Marsh, it will also promote healthy tree growth and boost park safety. Future opportunities at this and other dog parks are in the works.
