Homeland Security Raids Lockport Township Home

UNINCORPORATED LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, IL — The Department of Homeland Security descended on a home in unincorporated Lockport Township Thursday, officials confirmed.

Homeland Security officers and law enforcement partners raided the home in the 400 block of Bruce Road to execute a search warrant related to an ongoing criminal investigation, according to DHS Public Affairs Officer Ross Tweten.

Lockport police were not involved in the search, Deputy Chief Ron Huff told Patch.

Homeland Security declined to provide any further information on the investigation.
