Homer Glen Man Still Missing: Sheriff
Victor Salov, 36, was reported missing on Aug. 5.

HOMER GLEN, IL — A Homer Glen man reported missing in August is still an endangered missing person, the Will County Sheriff's Office shared on Saturday.
Victor Salov, 36, was reported missing on Aug. 5. He was last seen on July 15, when he was released from a hospital in New Lenox, the sheriff's office said. He has not returned home since, and was officially reported missing on Aug. 5.
"Unfortunately, the status of this case remains unchanged," the sheriff's office said. "All of the tips and leads that we have received to date have not resulted in Victor being located. We continue to ask for the public's help in finding Mr. Salov and ask that you share his information."

Salov shares a home with his parents in Homer Glen, and returned to Homer Glen three years ago after living in California, according to police.
He is described as a white man, 6’4” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown eyes, long brown hair and a long brown beard. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans, according to police.

The sheriff's office said Salov does not have a cell phone, bank accounts, credit/debit cards, or social media accounts. He has no vehicle, no known associates and no current place of employment.
Salov has a medical condition that places him in an endangered status, the sheriff's office said.
