Homer Library Holds Winter Reading Challenge Kick-Off

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer Township Public Library will kick off its winter reading challenge, "Read Gnome Matter What," on Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 1, guests can enjoy a free cupcake from the Courageous Bakery food truck. One cupcake per person, while supplies last, according to the Library.

Guests will also be able to pick up their book log, which must be turned in by March 3. The challenge is open to all ages, and the more you read, the more chances you have to win prizes.
