Homer Township Holds Second Annual Petfest

There will also be over 30 exhibitors, including an exotic animal demonstration, and a taco truck and ice cream truck will be on-site.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The second annual Homer Township Petfest will be held on June 15 at Town Center Park, 14354 W. 151st St.

The fest, held by Township Clerk Vicki Bozen and Road Commissioner Brent Porfilio, will be from noon to 3 p.m., event organizers said.

Community members and visitors of all ages will have the opportunity to discover options available for pets, participate in activities, shop for products, enter pet contests, and find information on pet services.

There will also be over 30 exhibitors, including an exotic animal demonstration, and a taco truck and ice cream truck will offer food for purchase. The first 250 attendees will receive a goody bag, event organizers said.

Pet food and horse food donations will be accepted for Chrislin Farm in Homer Township. All animals are welcome and must be up-to-date on shots and on a leash at all times.
