Hulk Hogan Makes Stop At Lockport Jewel Osco To Debut New Beer

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport residents doing their weekly grocery shopping may be in for a bit of surprise on Thursday, when WWE legend Hulk Hogan stops by the Lockport Jewel Osco.

Iconic professional wrestler Hulk Hogan will make an appearance at the Lockport store to promote his new "Real American Beer." The Lockport stop is one of 10 planned in Illinois as Hogan body slams the brand he co-founded into another Midwestern market, after it entered the ring in Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin. Illinois is now the 12th state to crack open a can of the 4.2% ABV, light lager.

"I’ve got some unforgettable memories from my time wrestling in this state—like the Rosemont Horizon in ‘85, where I defended the WWF Championship," said Hulk Hogan in a release. "Now, I’m back with Real American Beer, and we’re here to make history once again."

Hogan and his team will be at the Jewel Osco, 16625 W. 159th St., in Lockport, from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday. Fans will have the chance to meet the team, sample the beer, and score exclusive Real American Beer merchandise.

Real American Beer’s arrival in Illinois is part of a nationwide rollout, with distribution secured through top wholesalers Lakeshore Beverage, Skeff Distributing and Superior Beverage.

Additionally, Real American Beer will be available at major retailers such as Jewel-Osco, Binny’s, and others.
