Lockdown At LTHS East Due To Accidental Activation: Police

LOCKPORT, IL — The lockdown alarm system at LTHS East campus was accidentally activated on Tuesday afternoon, Lockport Police told Patch.

In a notification to parents, the school said that Lockport Police did a protective sweep through each area out of an abundance of caution.

"We have checked the building and determined that it was an accidental activation of the lockdown alarm system. Officers are completing their release of the building and should be clearing shortly," Lockport Police said.
