A house in the 1100 block of Jennifer Court was severely damaged in a Saturday morning fire. A major storm swept through the region overnight. “We are looking into a possible lightning strike as the cause,” Lockport Township Fire Chief David Skoryi told the Daily Southtown. The fire broke out at around 1:30 a.m. The fire department estimated the damage at $175,000.
