Lockport Park District's New Fitness Center Now Open

LOCKPORT, IL — Challenge Fitness' new state-of-the-art fitness center is now open, the Lockport Township Park District announced on Facebook.

The new fitness center features new equipment, group classes, trainers and more. The Challenge Fitness expansion is one of the latest projects for the park district, and adds more space and equipment to the fitness center, as well as a new multi-purpose room and a lobby area.

"This is more than just a gym - it's your new go-to destination for health, wellness and community," the park district said on its Facebook.

The park district will also open a new outdoor fitness center, which is set to open in the spring.

As part of its celebrations on the new fitness center opening, members can stop by for a complimentary workout towel until Dec. 31 and present your membership fob to claim your gift, the park district said.
