Lockport Plans Cybersafety Program For Parents

The program will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 31 at City Hall, 222 E. Ninth St.

LOCKPORT, IL — The City of Lockport will host a parent presentation of "Keeping Our Kids and Families Cyber Safe," on Jan. 31.

The program will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at City Hall, 222 E. Ninth St.

According to the City, topics covered will include proactive strategies, and resources about combating scams, cyberbullying, drugs, vaping and sexting. There will also be an open forum Q&A.

The presentation will be led by Detective Richard Wistocki, who is a high technology cyber crimes specialist.
