Lockport Police Plan Annual CommUnity Event

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Police Department is set for its annual CommUnity event, planned for Aug. 2 at LTHS East Campus, 1333 E. Seventh St.

The annual free event is a day of community connection, and features food, games, music, family activities and more, according to the department. Guests can meet Lockport Police officers and other community partners at the event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will also be free hot dogs, a touch-a-truck and a business expo. The department said it has vendor space available for both the expo and touch-a-truck event. You can contact the Community Outreach Unit at 815-838-2132 ext. 2213 for more information.
