Lockport Summer Art Series, ROXY Lockport Host 2024 Movies Series

LOCKPORT, IL — The City of Lockport's Summer Art Series will host the 2024 movies this year, including two free, outdoor movies as well as movies at ROXY Lockport.

The outdoor movies will be shown on the side of the historic Norton building, 201 W. 10th St., according to the City. There will be limited parking in the 925 S. State St. lot.

The free projection movies will be:

• "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on June 14
• "Finding Nemo" on Aug. 9

Both movies will begin at dusk.

Movies at the ROXY Lockport will be held later this year:

• "Captain America: First Avenger," at 5 p.m. on July 20
• "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," 3 p.m. on Oct. 13
• "Elf," 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 30
• "The Polar Express" at 3 p.m. on Dec. 8
• "White Christmas" at 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 8
