LTHS Board Accepting Applications For Vacant Board Position

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School Board of Education is seeking applicants for a vacant position on the board.

After the resignation of member Marty Boersma last month, the Board must appoint an individual to the vacant seat, which has a term through May 2025.

According to the notice of vacancy, candidates can submit a resume and letter of interest to the LTHS D205 District Administrative Center, Board of Education Vacancy, Attention Kathy Maxwell, 1323 East 7th Street, Lockport, IL, 60441; or via email to Kathy Maxwell, Board Secretary at kmaxwell@lths.org with a subject line: Board of Education Vacancy.

Applications are due by noon on Jan. 19. The Board will then schedule interviews with candidates in late January and early February.
