LTHS Football To Play Barrington In IHSA Quarterfinals

LOCKPORT, IL — Lockport Township High School football is headed to the quarterfinals of the IHSA Class 8A playoffs after its win over Homewood-Flossmoor in the second round.

The Porters defeated Homewood-Flossmoor, 21-20, according to IHSA. Lockport also won against Sandburg, 21-14, in the first round of playoffs.

Now, Lockport will play Barrington at home at 6 p.m. on Nov. 15, according to IHSA.

The winner of Saturday's game will play the winner of Oswego vs. Maine South in the semifinals.

The Class 8A state championship will be played on Nov. 29 at Hancock Stadium in Normal.
