HOMER GLEN, IL — Plans for a building addition at District 33C's Hadley Middle School and Homer Junior High School continue to move forward.

Schoppe added that the District also has 10 alternate bid projects, which will be considered as well.

"Those alternate bid projects include a new gym along with interior renovation work which will create additional classrooms," Schoppe said.

Hadley Middle School was built in 1987, and Homer Junior High was built in 1981, according to Village Board documents. Additions were built in 2003 and 2004.

"The project will address current space issues at both buildings and provide flexibility across both buildings to address future enrollment growth," Schoppe said.
