Stargazing Planned At Heritage Park
Also, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., the animal show "Incredible Bats!" will be held in the Village Hall Community Room.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Spend an evening with the stars at Homer Glen's stargazing event on Sept. 13 in Heritage Parking.
From 7:30 to 10 p.m., weather permitting, the Kankakee Area StarGazers, the Naperville Astronomical Association, and the South West Astronomy Observers Group will have their large telescopes available for free viewing, according to the Village.
Viewing will start when it is dark.

Also, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., the animal show "Incredible Bats!" will be held in the Village Hall Community Room. Sharon and Dan of Incredible Bats have been promoting bat education in the Midwest since 1996. Meet bats and other nocturnal creatures (fox, armadillo, hedgehog, and more). This portion of the event is rain or shine.
The stargazing will be located on the east site of the park along Heritage Circle Drive. Parking is available in front of Village Hall and on the west side of the park (near the Library).
