Third Annual Taste Of Lockport Set For Sept. 21
The family-friendly event will be held in historic downtown Lockport on Hamilton Street in front of City Hall from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
LOCKPORT, IL — On Sept. 21, the Lockport Township High School 205 Foundation will host the third annual Taste of Lockport community event. The event is a partnership with the City of Lockport with the goal of fundraising for LTHS students' scholarships, programs, faculty grants, and LTHS community events, according to a release from the district.
The family-friendly event will be held in historic downtown Lockport on Hamilton Street in front of City Hall from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Local restaurants and breweries will feature favorite menu items, accepting cash and credit for food purchases, according to a release. The beer tent will sell beverage tickets to be sold onsite and redeemed for alcohol purchases.
New this year, family friendly activities and games will be available at the Kids Zone from 5 to 7 p.m. This year’s bands are Casino Eve from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Friday at Five taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The admission price is $10, and tickets can be purchased in advance. Purchase your Pre-sale tickets online at TasteofLockport.org or Nik & Ivy Brewing Company for $10 until Sept. 20. Tickets will be available at the door of the event for $10 with admission free for children and students. Designated driver wristbands will be made available and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks for your driver to enjoy, according to a release.
The Taste of Lockport will be a rain-or-shine event.
