120 Seat Belt, 7 Child Car Seat Citations Issued In Flossmoor PD's Memorial Day Push
The Flossmoor Police Department last week released the results of its Memorial Day "Click It Or Ticket" campaign.
FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Flossmoor Police Department last week announced it issued 135 citations during the Memorial Day "Click It or Ticket" enforcement effort.
“Through the Memorial Day enforcement campaign, we helped make Illinois roads safer and spread the word that seat belts save lives,” said Flossmoor Police Chief Carl Estelle.
During the enforcement period, which coincided with the Memorial Day holiday (May 16-27), Flossmoor Police wrote 119 citations for seat belt violations and took the following additional actions:

- 7 child car seat citations
- 4 speeding citations
- 5 other infractions
