2 Arrested After Markham Carjacking, Teen Had AR-15 Next To Bed: PD

MARKHAM, IL — A teenager and a man were arrested Friday morning in Markham after police said they found an AR-15 gun next to the teenager's bed.

According to police, the gun was discovered while officers were executing a search warrant of a home bordering Posen and Markham in the 14900 block of Sacramento Avenue. The man and teen were wanted in connection to a carjacking in Posen last week, police said.

Police also found another firearm and cell phones they said belonged to the victims of the carjacking.
