Cinco De Mayo Celebration Set For Downtown Homewood

HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood residents looking to celebrate Cinco de Mayo won't have to go far.
The Village has planned a local event to draw residents to Homewood businesses for the annual celebration of heritage.
A $25 per person purchase buys guests a swag bag that will include:

- 3 food/drink tickets—each ticket has a value of $5—which can be used for beer/wine/soda/food at participating locations.
- wristband for food and shopping specials throughout the day at participating locations.
- themed goodies in a drawstring bag with shopping specials and discounts from local shops and eateries.
As of April 13, establishments participating in the tickets and wristband offering include Twisted Q, 2053 Ridge Rd., and 5th Quarter Tap, 18105 Dixie Hwy. Among those offering a wristband special is Art4Soul, 18135 Harwood Ave #1. The list of participating businesses is expected to grow as the event nears.
