Domestic Incident Leads To Gun Threat In Homewood Apartment: Cops
It happened in the 18200 block of Morgan Street Tuesday night, police said.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Homewood resident was charged with domestic battery and possession of a firearm without a firearm owners identification card Tuesday, after police say he threatened a woman with a gun.
Around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the 18200 block of Morgan Street for a domestic battery situation, where the victim told police, Jerimea McGhee, 34, threatened her with a gun. The woman fled from the apartment and called 911, according to police.
Authorities weren't able to make contact with McGhee, as he remained in the apartment. The apartment was secured, and the South Suburban Emergency Response Team (SSERT) was activated, according to police.

Around 3:34 a.m. Wednesday, the McGhee was taken into custody, and ammunition and a holster was recovered from the apartment, police said. McGhee will be transported to Markham Courthouse for a bond hearing.
