FLOSSMOOR, IL — A tradition since 1931, the Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department Children's Bicycle Parade returns on Thursday, July 4, during Flossmoor's centennial year.

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District Pit Crew will be available to help kids decorate at 9:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Parker Junior High School. Line up will start at 9:30 a.m., then the parade will step off at 10 a.m., followed by a demonstration of Fire Department operations, plus treats and refreshments in Downtown Flossmoor. Please note: For the safety of participants and spectators, motorized vehicles are not allowed to participate in the parade.
