Football Season 2023: Homewood-Flossmoor HS Vikings Schedule Set

HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — Summer is winding down, and high school football fans are already looking ahead. The Illinois High School Association released schedules recently. Homewood-Flossmoor High School Vikings will start their season away on August 25, against Naperville North.
A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24–25. The state final games have been moved to Illinois State University's Hancock Stadium in Bloomington-Normal. ISU will host the finals for five years.
Coached by Terrell Alexander, the Vikings follow up a 6-4 season in 2022-2023.

- Aug. 25: Naperville North, away, 7 p.m.
- Sept. 2: Marian Catholic, home, 1 p.m.
- Sept. 8: Waubonsie Valley, home, 7 p.m.
- Sept. 15: Bolingbrook, home, 7:30 p.m.
- Sept. 22: Stagg, away, 6 p.m.
- Sept. 29: Sandburg, home, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 6: Lincoln-Way East, away, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 13: Lincoln-Way West, home, 7 p.m.
- Oct. 20: Lockport, away, 6:30 p.m.
