Franciscan Health Offers Lunch & Learn Series for Heart Month

Olympia Fields hospital to host three informative public education events presented by cardiology specialists in February

In recognition of American Heart Month, Franciscan Health Olympia Fields is hosting a Lunch and Learn series designed to educate the community on critical heart health topics. Throughout February, leading cardiologists will present engaging discussions on cardiovascular health, prevention strategies, and disease management.

The Lunch and Learn sessions will take place in the auditorium at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields, 20201 S. Crawford Ave., in Olympia Fields, from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and take advantage of this opportunity to learn from experienced physicians.

  • Tuesday, February 4 – Heart Attack, presented by Kendra Marsh-Kates, MD
  • Monday, February 10 – Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease, in 2025 presented by Omar Hamoui, MD
  • Thursday, February 20 – Hypertension Management, presented by Brittany Dixon, MD

These sessions will be led by independent providers who choose to practice at Franciscan Health and are open to the public. Whether you are looking to improve your own heart health or care for a loved one, this series provides valuable insights on maintaining cardiovascular wellness.
