FLOSSMOOR, IL — More than 50 Homewood-Flossmoor High School Dads took part in the inaugural Dad Squad Day on Monday, March 20, hosted by the Homewood-Flossmoor Parent Association (HFPA) and the school administration. Dads engaged with students during passing periods with greetings, encouraging words, fist bumps and other positive motivational signals as they learned about high school offerings while touring the campus, stopping into classrooms and talking with teachers and administrators.

Dad Jamaal Webster shared that Dad Squad was, "an amazing experience. I learned about the impressive opportunities that I never knew existed for students. I'm going to go home and talk to my son about the opportunities that he needs to take advantage of."
