Homewood Florist To Close After More Than 60 Years
The owners of the beloved local business will move on to retirement, they announced on social media.

HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood Florist will soon close after more than 60 years serving the community, its owners announced on social media.
Owners Marty and Kyle Arrivo are retiring, they wrote.
"They say all good things must come to an end, and so it goes with Homewood Florist," the announcement read.

"It has been an honor to share in some of your most personal milestones: weddings, births, and deaths. The circle of life. Our sincerest thanks to you for placing your trust in us through the years."
The florist's last day in business will be Oct. 31.

"Sixty-two years is a great run!" the owners wrote. "Although bittersweet, we look forward to our next chapter as retirees."
