Homewood-Flossmoor High School: Your Back-To-School Guide 2019/20
Classes at H-F High School start in just two weeks! Here are key dates and updates to help you get your kids to school.
HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOOR, IL — The first day of classes at Homewood-Flossmoor High school is approaching quickly with a start date set for August 14, and there's plenty to do to get your child ready for school. At H-F, that includes Book & Fee Days, which start next week.
Here's what you need to know to get your child ready for school:
2019-20 Book & Fee Days start next week at H-F for both returning students and freshman.
Hours are 11 a.m.to 7 p.m. on July 31, Aug. 1 & Aug. 5 and 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. on Sat. Aug. 3.

You will be able to:
• Verify residency (if you didn't do so July 1-18)
• Pay your registration fee (if you didn't do so in July or online)
• Pick up textbooks & class schedules
• Be issued your 2019-20 school ID
• Receive information about bus routes
• Update your student's phone numbers & emergency contacts
• Have an opportunity to purchase gym uniforms and spirit wear
The 2019-20 registration fee is $350. If the fee is paid before Aug. 6, the fee will be discounted to $295. Students in the Class of 2020 will have an additional $50 graduation fee.

- Tuesday, Aug. 13: Teacher Work Day (No Classes)
- Wednesday, Aug. 14: Classes Begin
- Thursday, Aug. 22: Back-to-School Night
- Monday, Sept. 2: Labor Day (School Closed)
- Wednesday, Oct. 9: Yom Kippur (School Closed)
- Monday, Oct. 14: Columbus Day (School Closed)
- Wednesday, Oct. 16: All-School Test Day 1:20 p.m. Student Dismissal
- Friday, Oct. 18: End of 1st Quarter
