Homewood Road Closures On Monday

HOMEWOOD, IL — Road closures in Homewood may interrupt you commute on Monday. According to the village, the following roads will be closed:

• Harwood Avenue, from Elm to 183rd.
• Ridge Road, from Dixie Hwy to Harwood.
• Martin Avenue, from Chestnut to Hickory.
• Metra’s Harwood Avenue station entrance will be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The village said commuters can access the station via the Park Avenue entrance, and that the station will not be ADA accessible during this time. ADA commuters will need to go to the neighboring Calumet Station or Flossmoor station to board their trains.

All streets will be up and running again on Tuesday.
